Apple Will Hold Its Keynote Event on September 12, According to Sources Close to the Matter-February 2024
Feb 11, 2026 11:49 PM

Apple has not publicly announced its keynote details during which the company will unveil the iterative iPhone 7s and iPhone 7s Plus, following by the design-overhaul-touting iPhone 8. According to carrier sources, it looks like Apple will be looking to showcase a diverse lineup of products on September 12.

Sources Also Claim That Pre-Orders for the iPhone 8 Will Start During the Same Week, Starting From September 15

Mac4Ever is reporting, citing carrier sources that Apple is going to be announcing its iPhone 8, followed by the remaining models on September 12. It has also been rumored several times that the Apple Watch Series 3is going to be announced at the same event, but we’ll keep you updated on that front.

Pre-orders are not going to be announced immediately; Apple will probably be making sure that it has sufficient inventory to sate the needs of millions of customers. According to the sources close to this information, pre-orders are going to commence on Friday, September 15, with a release date set for the 22nd of the same month.

The wearable that Apple has been rumored to announce will rely on eSIM technology to provide users with data connectivity. Cellular connectivity is not going to be provided this year because the tech giant wants the meeting with carriers to go as smoothly as possible.

While the Apple Watch Series 3 is something that we will be looking forward to seeing, we have to admit that our focus will be entirely on the iPhone 8, and the boatload of upgrades plus hardware and design changes it will ship with. Rumor has it that the highest storage model will come with 512GB of onboard memory, while the remaining versions will be shipped in the 64 and 256GB capacities.

You should still treat this rumor with a pinch of salt because Apple has yet to announce its official keynote details, so we wouldn’t get excited just yet.
