Asus has a tiny surprise for AMD users, It’s ready with a new AM3 socket motherboard which packs a lot of features which is a Mini-ITX form factor board. The ASUS M4A88T-I Deluxe (name of the board) will support the AM3 processors. The board will have a TDP of 95 or 125W and will support up to 8 Gb of DDR3 ram in Dual channel mode being SODIMM’s (Laptop ram’s). Action doesn’t ends here. The small ITX board will have a 880G chipset which means it’ll have a direct x 10.1 compliant ATI Radeon HD4290 graphics complete with SidePort memory and HD video acceleration features. The board will also have 3 sata 3.0gb/s ports and expansion slots will include 1 PCI-e x16 2.0 slot.
Connectivity includes 6-channel HD audio with optical and coaxial SPDIF output, gigabit Ethernet, WiFi b/g/n, Bluetooth, USB 3.0 and USB 2.0, and display connectivity which includes DVI and HDMI (with 7.1 channel HDMI audio) and the board will also have a unique feature of unlocking disabled cores on some processors.
