After a couple of leaks, Asus has finally released the Asus ROG Phone 7 Ultimate and its base variant. As expected, both devices are on the expensive side, but both phones more than makeup for it thanks to the powerful specs, gaming-oriented features, accessories that you can attach, and some exquisite looks, to be honest.
The Asus ROG Phone 7 and ROG Phone 7 Ultimate are two of the most premium smartphones of 2023
The Asus ROG Phone 7 packs some stellar specifications starting with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. You are also getting a 32-megapixel front camera. The design is slightly changed and more refined this year, and the AeroActive Cooler 7 has a subwoofer on it, so if you are looking to play games and don't want to use headphones, this is an excellent addition.

The highlight is, of course, the massive 6,000 battery that can be topped up at 65W, and Asus is kind enough to provide a charger with the phone. For some reason, the phone is IP54 certified instead of the more traditional IP67. The front camera also does not have support for optical image stabilization, but then again, the phone is not normal for those who are looking to take stunning pictures.

Moving onto the pricing and availability, the Asus ROG Phone 7 will be available with 12 gigs of RAM and 512 gigs of internal storage and will run you €999/$999. If you want an even beefier version, the Asus ROG Phone 7 Ultimate will run you €1,399/$1,399. The ultimate variant only comes in a 16/512GB configuration and just has a single color. However, you get a customizable ROG Vision external color display and a terminal to connect the AeroActive Cooler. As for availability, the phones will be available in late Q2, but Asus has not given the exact date, so we will keep you updated on the official release date.
