More on our earlier story about the white iPhone being delayed; this particular device is expected to go on Verizon, and it just might be Apple first CDMA iPhone. A blogger by the name of Rich Rich has posted on his website live shots of a CDMA iPhone prototype in the testing phase. The prototype is said be codenamed N92DVT (Device Verification Test).
According to Rich, the device seems to have its origins from a "repair shop in Vietnam", which if you all remember happens to be the place where pictures of pre-launch Apple devices like the iPhone 4 cropped up earlier this year. The photos depict a test OS, but the authenticity of these photos cannot be verified yet. However, Will “cdevwill” Strafach of the Chronic Dev Team has something to say on the matter here andhere.
