Alpha build for Cyanogen Mod 7 has been released for HTC's flagship phones, the Evo 3D and Sensation. The builds were released yesterday after several announcements in the previous weeks regarding a CM7 release. If you are the proud owner of a Sensation or Evo 3D, you should definitely check it out, after all CM7 is one of the best unofficial ROMS for Android out there.

Flashing process for HTC Sensation: (Download link)

- First time flashing CM 7 to your Sensation (or coming from another ROM)?

1. Unlock/root your device and install Clockwork Recovery via ROM Manager

2. Do a Nandroid backup!

3. WIPE

4. Install the ROM

5. Optionally install the Google Addon

- Upgrading from earlier CM7 or nightly build?

1. Do a Nandroid Backup!

2. Install the ROM (your Google apps will be backed up automatically)

Flashing process for HTC Evo 3D: (Download Link 1 and Link 2

First time flashing CM 7 to your Evo 3D (or coming from another ROM)?

1. Unlock/root your device and install twrp or Clockwork Recovery(You MUST be NAND unlocked!)

2. Do a Nandroid backup!

3. Update your radio if necessary

4. WIPE

5. Install the ROM

5. Optionally install the Google Addon

- Upgrading from earlier CM7 or nightly build?

1. Do a Nandroid Backup!

2. Install the ROM (your Google apps will be backed up automatically)

Before you decide on flashing the ROM check out the Known bugs below:

HTC Sensation:

-Recording 1080p video for a couple minutes causes a soft reboot

-Misc minor scaling issues

-Skype requires a speaker toggle for audio to work correctly

-Small issue where wifi calling FCs on boot for EU Sensations. This will be fixed.

-Bluetooth headset is untested because no one on the team has one. I don't know if it is a bug or not.

HTC Evo 3D:

- bluetooth borked for now

- nextflix has a security issue

- wimax broken for now

- keyboard all massive. i use Gingerbread keyboard from the market

- taking 3d images and video not working

- 3d pictures (mpo, jps, ect) do not display in 3d

- FFC takes pics upside down

- battery gauge wonky
