Complete Specifications of AMD's Upcoming Cape Verde based 28nm HD7700 Series GPU's have been exposed by 3DCenter. The Cape Verde based cards are expected to launch on 15th February 2012, Cape Verde XT was already exposed and benchmarked which you can check out here.

AMD Cape Verde

Mainstream graphics chip architecture for the GCN DirectX 11.128nm production at TSMC1.5 billion transistors, die size measurements at ~ 130mm ²10 Compute Units (CU) - Shader cluster with 64 shader units and 4 texture units per CU640 shader units and 40 texture units for Cape Verde16 raster operation units (ROPs)128-bit DDR memory interface (up to GDDR5)

The Cape Verde lineup would include two cards, The XT variant "HD7770" and the Pro variant "HD7750", Both are detailed below:

AMD Radeon HD 7770

10 active CUs640 shader units and 40 texture units16 raster operation units (ROPs)128-bit DDR memory interfaceClock Speeds: 1000/2250 MHzPerformance: 1280 GFlops, Texture Filtering Rate: 40 Gtex/sec Memory Bandwidth: 72 GB/secTypical board power: 80W ~Memory buffer: 1024 MB of GDDR5 memory

AMD Radeon HD 7750

8 active CUs512 shader units and 32 texture units16 raster operation units (ROPs)128-bit DDR memory interfaceClock speeds: 800/2250 MHzComputing power: 819 GFlops, Texture Filtering Rate: 25.6 Gtex/sec Memory Bandwidth: 72 GB/secTypical board power: 55W ~Memory buffer: 1024 MB of GDDR5 memory

Both cards would replace the earlier Juniper Core basedHD 5750/5770 & 6750 / 6770 Graphic cards, the performance gain of the 28nm parts is a bit better then past gen GPU's, PowerEfficiencyis better. The HD7770 seems to be as fast as the HD6850 while the HD7750 outperforms the Juniper core at only 55W TDP.

Launch Price for HD7770 is expected around€ 115 and€ 90-100 for the HD7750. AMD also has the performance segment cards ready for launch in March 2012 based on the Pitcairn Core which you can see below:
