iOS 10.3 Public Beta 1 and macOS 10.12.4 Public Beta 1 is now available to download for iPhone, iPad and Mac users.

Non-Developers Can Now Download iOS 10.3 Public Beta & macOS 10.12.4 Public Beta for Free

Having released iOS 10.3 betaand macOS 10.12.4 Sierra beta a couple of days back, Apple has now seeded iOS 10.3 Public Beta and macOS 10.12.4 Public Beta to non-developers. This means anyone can try out Apple's new software without having to chip out $99 for an Apple Developer Program membership. The only strict requirement is owning a device that is compatiblewith Apple's latest software.

In order to download and install either of the Public Beta builds on your iPhone, iPad or Mac, simply head over to beta.apple.com first. Over here you will be required to sign in with your Apple ID and follow the on-screen steps for installation. Since everything happens over the air therefore you do not have to worry about losing your files at all. But just to be on the safe side of the fence, we will still recommend taking a complete backup of your data in a secure location.

iOS 10.3 is a considerably big update in terms of features it brings to the table. For starters, the update now incorporates Find My AirPods feature, allowing you to find your lost AirPods quickly and easily. Furthermore, Apple has baked in support for pulling cricket scores and updates using Siri, something which will definitely go down well with fans. Apart from that there are a handful of great small changes that will enhance the overall experience for any user.

macOS 10.12.4 on the other hand is a mighty solid update as well. It brings iOS' Night Shift feature to the desktop, ensuring things are easy on your eye, eventually helping you sleep at night better. Apart from that there are a lot of developer related changes, bug fixes and performance related enhancements.

Since iOS 10.3 and macOS 10.12.4 Public Betas are way too much in their infancy, therefore I would recommend avoiding the update for the time being. Once at least three betas are made available to try out, only then give the pre-release build a shot on your device. Also, make sure you try out the builds on devices that do not serve the purpose of a primary device with you.
