Apple's Next-Gen Mobile OS Is Finally Available For Everyone To Download

Apple has finally flipped the switch and iOS 9 final for iPhones, iPads, iPod touches is now available to download for everyone around the globe. The rollout is an immediate one, hence you can grab the update straight away without having to wait one bit.

Before going ahead with the installation, we highly recommend that you charge your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch all the way up to the 100% mark and leave it plugged into a charger during the process. Also, please make sure that you have a stable Internet connection at home so the download and verification process does not fail at any point.

Also be sure that you have sufficient space on your iOS device if you’re planning to update over the air (OTA). Anything above 2.5GB is more than sufficient for the installation process.

Regardless of the route you’re planning to take, be sure to backup your device on iCloud or iTunes so that your data is safe in case something goes wrong during the installation process.

If you’ve followed the above mentioned routines correctly then you’re good to go for installation.

Navigate to Settings > General > Software Update in order to download and install iOS 9.

It's also worth mentioning here that the build number of iOS 9 final released today is the same as iOS 9 GM download which was pushed to developerslast week. If you installed iOS 9 GM on your device, then there's no need to reinstall iOS 9 as both firmware files are the same.
