EVGA GeForce GTX 680 Breaks the 1.8GHz Core Clock Barrier-August 2024

Renowned OverclockerKIngpIn managed to get hold of an EVGA GeForce GTX 680 a day before launch and overclocked it past the 1.8GHz barrier atEVGA's Taiwan R&D Center.

This is an amazing achievement by KIngpIn which shows the overclocking potential of NVIDIA's newly launch GeForce GTX 680 GPU, A day earlier, Overclocker Elmor also achieved1800 MHz core, 7.70 GHz memory on the MSI Lightning Edition R7970.

The clock frequency - 1842MHz Core @1.212V was achieved using an EVGA EPower board and some good ol' Liquid Nitrogen. Memory ran at 2400MHz and was adjusted with the help of EVGA's latest PrecisionX software. in 3DMark 11, The GPU score a massive P14912 Marks alone which is higher than GTX 590's score. Amazing stuff and congrats to the EVGA team!
