However, it is worth noting that the update is only being released to those who signed up for the beta version. This means that once the rollout is complete for all beta users, it will start rolling out to those who are still on Android 13. Either way, this is a great move by Samsung to release the update. Based on the latest schedule that we got our hands on, Samsung is planning on updating all the supported Galaxy phones to One UI 6.0 by the end of this year, and Galaxy S22 is now going to start getting the update.
Keep in mind that the update is only rolling out to the Galaxy S22 users who enrolled in the beta program in Europe. This means the rollout for other regions should start soon, perhaps later this day. There is a high chance that all devices should be updated by the end of this week or next week, but the good news is that it has started.
One UI 6.0 on Galaxy S22 will bring many changes both from Android 14 and Samsung's own set of features. This includes lock screen customization, better permission management, and everything else you would expect from Samsung.
