Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24 Plus To Feature The Same Slim Bezel Displays As The Upcoming iPhone 15 Pro Models, Claims Tipster-February 2024
Feb 12, 2026 8:28 AM

The Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24 Plus are rumored to get a slight design change after several years, hinting that Samsung has finally realized its potential if it worked towards altering the exterior. According to one tipster, the narrow bezels will match those of the upcoming iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max.

No word if the Galaxy S24 Ultra will be included in this design change, but it most likely will, given that it gets treated to better hardware

The tipster Ice Universe did not mention the exact measurement details, but he does state on the Chinese micro-blogging website Weibo that both the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24 Plus will sport slimmer bezels like Apple’s upcoming flagship models. It was previously reported that both the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max will take the crown for having razor-thin bezels, measuring 1.55mm, beating the Xiaomi 13 Pro, which features bezels measuring just 1.81mm.

Going by these figures, we can assume that the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24 Plus will tout the same displays, if not better. Apple has also been reported to switch to LIPO technology, or ‘low-injection pressure over-molding’ to achieve those slimmer bezels, but it is not confirmed if Samsung intends to take advantage of the same technology.

Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24 Plus to feature slimmer bezels

Surprisingly, the tipster has not stated if the Galaxy S24 Ultra will ship with the same OLED panels, but given that Samsung usually gives priority to its top-tier flagship, it is unlikely that this particular model will be left out of the treatment. After all, we did learn over the weekend that Samsung’s most premium flagship offering for 2024 is rumored to feature a titanium chassis, getting rid of the aluminum build once and for all.

Reducing the bezels on a display is not a cost-effective procedure, but it is unclear if Samsung will be forced to raise the prices of its Galaxy S24 lineup next year. Hopefully, it will maintain the same figures as the Galaxy S23 to make its devices more competitive in several markets.
