
Christian Ney of Ocaholic has set a new memory oc record by overclocking G.Skill's Trident X module to 3900 MHz (1950.3 MHz actual).

The memory overclock was achieved with the help ofG.Skill 4 GB Trident 2666-C11 kit which at stock runs at 2666 MHz. System specs included anAMD A8-3870K APU, Gigabyte A75-UD4H motherboard and a custom LN2 pot built byK|ngp|n Cooling.

The specific memory module was cherry picked from several other kits with this one being the only able to break the previous memory oc record set byHiCookie on an Intel system.
