The foldable market is slowly growing and thriving, and OnePlus is finally ready to join the bandwagon. We have seen foldable from almost all the companies that one can think about, but OnePlus' take on it has been under wraps. Well, that changes today, because we have our hands on some fresh OnePlus V Foldrenders to show how the upcoming foldable will look.
The OnePlus V Fold renders show one of the cleanest foldable phones we have seen
Now, this is not the first time we have heard about the OnePlus V Fold. The phone has been a part of the rumor mill for some time now. However, this is the first time we are getting the chance to look at the phone in all its glory. All thanks to @OnLeaks and his association with SmartPrix. Without further ado, you can have a look at the renders below:

Now, honestly, looking at the OnePlus V Fold, I can tell that this is perhaps the most refined foldable phone that I have seen. It looks very proportionate. However, the source has mentioned that these images are derived from a prototype unit that is still being tested, and well, it might end up changing when it eventually comes out. Another important thing that I have noticed is that the new foldable does not look like other siblings. The OnePlus foldable does not share its looks with the likes of OPPO's Find N2 Fold or other companies under the BBK umbrella, which certainly is a good thing.
Looking at the pictures, you can see that the OnePlus V Fold also has a faux leather back, which is an excellent touch considering how you will get a device that is not prone to fingerprints. You are also getting a triple camera setup on the rear, with one camera being a periscope lens, for better zooming capabilities. A returning feature is going to be the legendary Alert Slider, and of course, the OnePlus V Fold will have a fingerprint sensor integrated into the power button, as we would expect, and honestly, the overall phone looks very nice, clean, and proportionate.
As far as the specs are concerned, the OnePlus V Fold could end up with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 2, a QHD+ 120Hz LTPO OLED panel, a 50-megapixel main camera, with a 32-megapixel camera on the front. 4,800 mAh battery, and 100W SuperVOOC charging, as well.
I am really looking forward to seeing how the OnePlus V Fold turns out, and I really want the phone to be an instant hit. The Galaxy Z Fold 5 is also coming out next month, and now I feel like Samsung could face some tough competition. Here is hoping that the new foldable from OnePlus at least takes care of the woes that foldable phones are usually plagued with.
