Social media apps are one of the most time-consuming activities on our smartphones. There is a new trick that lets you scroll on social media and other apps with voice controls on your iPhone. If you want to check it out for yourself, the process is fairly simple. For your ease, we have compiled the list of instructions below that will allow you to scroll on Instagram, TikTok, and other apps using voice controls on your iPhone.

Step 1: The first thing that you have to do is launch the Settings app and then head over to Accessibility.

Step 2: Scroll down and select Voice Control.

Step 3: Tap on Set Up Voice Control.

Step 4: Once you do this, tap on Continue and then Done.

Step 5: After setting up voice control, head over toCustomize Commands and then Create New Command.

Step 6: In the field provided, type the phrase that you want to speak for the command to initiate. (In our case, we used the word Next).

Step 7: After adding the word or phrase, select Action and then tap on Run Custom Gesture.

Step 8: In this section, draw the line from bottom to top as if you are swiping on TikTok or Instagram and select Save.

Step 9: Now, navigate back to the command and tap on Application. Select the application where you want the voice command to be applied.

Step 10: We chose the Instagram app. After doing this, go back and tap on Save.

This is all that you have to do to run a custom voice command for a hands-free scrolling gesture. We would recommend you add another custom gesture to scroll back up on social media. Simply repeat the process, and instead of drawing the line from bottom to top, draw it from top to bottom. Furthermore, associate another phrase with it, such as Back.
