iMovie is the video editing app created by Apple themselves and is one of the most popular apps in the app store. Celebrating the launch of the iPad 2 Apple launched the official iMovie app for the device. iMovie is still not available for the original iPad as it seems Apple releases the app only for devices with built-in cameras. Currently iMovie is available for the iPhone 4, iPod Touch 4G and now the iPad 2. The release notes are as follows:
