Huawei may have just outdone itself. The Chinese phone manufacturer sold P20 smartphones worth $15 million in just 10 seconds. The Chinese giant had announcedthe P20 series last month and later stated that it aims to ship 20 million units of P20, P20 Lite, and P20 Pro this year.From the looks of it, Huawei’s planis going to materialize.
Huawei Has Not Detailed How Many Phones Were Sold - Revenue Could Have Been Higher Had the P20 Lite Been Included in the Flash Sale
Huawei started retailing the P20 and P20 Pro in China last Thursday, with both high-end devices beingbought in the form of a flash sale.Unfortunately,the flash sales only offered the flagship modelsand to make matters even more positive,it has not even been a week since the sale and Huawei has confirmed that it sold Huawei P20 and P20 Pro units worth $15 million within 10 seconds.
Huawei hasnotrevealed how many phones were sold but it is obvious that the number is significantly high. The revenue could have been much higher if the more affordable P20 Lite was also included in the sale as more people can afford budget phones. The P20 Lite is referred to as Nova 3e in Chinain case you didn’t know.
Currently, phones from the P20 series are retailing all over the worldandHuawei is extensively marketing the phones in the Asian and the European markets. The fallout with America hasn’t dampened Huawei’s spirits and the company is more determined than ever to become the numero uno smartphone maker in the world.
