Another Apple enthusiast site, Loop, have been able to confirm that the iPad will go on sale at around 5:00 pm (local time) across the U.S states. The device will be available at Apple retail locations at that time.

The iPad 2 features a 9.7-inch LED-backlit LCD screen and packs the new faster, low power yet dual core A5 processor, and two cameras. The device will have a front-facing VGA camera for FaceTime and Photo Booth, and a rear-facing camera that captures 720p HD video. The iPad 2 will be also running on the latest iOS 4.3.

The iPad 2, for the first time, will be available in either a choice of Black or White color. Stay tuned for more info as we cover the launch of the iPad 2 on 11th March!
