Internally, according to the publication, the project is codenamed Ghost with a D59 identifier. The iPhone SE 4 will finally move away from Apple's decade-old design that debuted with the iPhone 6. This time, the company will offer an all-screen design similar to the iPhone 14, which opens the door for more possibilities.

If the news has heft, Apple could finally ditch Touch ID in favor of Face ID on the iPhone SE 4. Since the iPhone SE 4 will feature a modified chassis of the iPhone 14, we can presume that the sides will be flat, unlike the iPhone SE 3. The publication notes that the current dimensions of the iPhone SE 4 match perfectly with the iPhone 14. The information corroborates earlier rumors that the iPhone SE 4 will feature Face ID instead of Touch ID. This also means the company is finally moving away from the Home button.
