Microsoft Improves Boot Experience with Today’s Windows 10 Redstone 4 Build
Microsoft Improves Boot Experience with Today’s Windows 10 Redstone 4 Build-December 2024
Dec 5, 2025 5:45 AM

After releasing Fall Creators Update Preview builds to Windows Insiders in the Fast ring last night, Microsoft is now rolling out another build. Today's release is only for those who joined the Skip Ahead program of the Insider community introduced by the Windows maker earlier this summer. Those in Skip Ahead are currently getting an early peek into the Windows 10 Redstone 4 (the version that will be released in Spring, 2018) ahead of even the Fast ring Insiders.

"Because we are just beginning development for RS4, Insiders shouldn’t expect to see a lot of big changes or new features just yet," Dona Sarkar wrote in today's announcement post. "Our focus remains getting the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update ready for release!"
