Microsoft is pushingout two cumulative updates to Windows 10 PC for those not enrolled in the Windows Insider program. The company is also rolling out an update to Insiders in the Release Preview Ring.
Latest Windows 10 cumulative updates bring Anniversary Update to14393.82
Windows 10 Anniversary users can now update their PCs to the latest cumulative update that promises to fix a number of bugs following the release of Anniversary Update earlier this month. One of these two updates includes build 14393.82 which was rolled out to Insiders in the Preview ring last week. But, the cumulative buildKB3176936 looks to be a new update that Microsoft is sending out to non-Insider Windows AnniversaryPC users.
While there are no details of the this new update, the changelog says:this update makes stability improvements for the Windows 10 Version 1607 servicing stack.
Microsoft had shared the following information about Windows 10 cumulative update support numberKB3176934:
We have released Cumulative Update (KB3176934) to Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 14393 on PCs which will bring the build number to 14393.82. This Cumulative Update includes the same fixes as KB3176932 but with an additional fix: Improved download size optimization of updates.
We don't yet have the information if14393.82 will be rolled out to non-Insider Windows 10 Mobile usersas well. As for those of you testing out the upcoming Redstone 2 features with Windows Insider program, there was no new buildreleased today.The development team was apparently busy with a DirectorsReview.
