
MSI has today launched their new Z77 Gaming series motherboards including the flagship Z77A-GD65 Gaming which is aimed primarily towards gamers and enthusiasts. The Z77 Gaminig Series motherboards from MSI were revealed back at CeBIT 2013 and we already detailed the Z77A-GD65 Gaming flagship board in our article here.

The new MSI Z77 Gaming series motherboards were designed by pro gamers for the gaming community itself with included features such asthe Qualcomm’s Killer E2200 high-performance network chip which delivers unprecedented and stable networkconnectionsfor gaming and enthusiast needs. Also, the Z77A-GD65 Gaming comes withthe latestgamingdeviceportwhich isoptimizedfor gaming mice with high polling rate of 500 Hz to 1000 Hz and reduces the response time from 8 ms to 1 ms.In addition to these, MSIG Serieswould have three times the gold plating on its latest ports which would increase the durability of userperipherals by preventing oxidation andofferingtime times longer lifetime. MSI Z77A-GD65 Gaming
The MSI Z77A-GD65 Gaming is definitely MSI’s most feature rich motherboard ever released for gamers falling in line just after the MSI Z77 MPower. The MSI Z77A-GD65 Gaming is equipped withMilitary ClassIII components which include a 12 Phase VRM making use ofDrMOS II, Hi-C Cap, Super Ferrite Choke. Components which fall under MSI’sMilitary ClassIII assure that users get longer lasting stability and overclocking out of their PCs.
The MSI Z77A-GD65 Gaming has alot of options, these include four DIMM slots which can support 64/128 GB of DDR3-3000 MHz memory. Three PCI-e x16 3.0 slots offer SLI and CrossFireX support with Multi-GPU functionality. Four PCI-e x1 3.0 slots offer support for additional connection cards. The board has a SATA III and USB 3.0 suport. For I/O there’sPS/2 GAMINGDEVICE PORT/ 2X USB 2.0,Clear CMOSbutton,CoaxialS/PDIF-out / optical S/PDIF-out, USB 2.0 ports / HDMI port, LAN / USB 3.0 ports, D-Sub port / DVI port, 8 channel analog audio.
The rest of the boards including the Z77A-GD45/43 Gaming and B75A-G43 Gaming come with the same Dragoon style Black/Red color theme but unlike the GD65 Gaming, they don't get the heatpipe cooling solution but a simple heatsink+PWM and a few features such as I/O, storage connectors get taken away depending on the models, you can check out the complete specification chart at the end of this article.

MSI also introduced new gaming series GPUs including the recently launched GTX 650 Ti Boost gaming and the GTX 670 Gaming showcased at CeBIT 2013. It should be noted that a prototype Z87 Gaming series motherboard was also showcased by MSI at CeBIT 2013 which would go under production sometime after Haswell launches on 2nd June 2013.
