Dec 13, 2025 7:41 PM

One of the most eagerly awaited games for the last two years launched its closed beta a few hours ago. Nvidia, which was one of the partners behind the development of the game is giving away a finite quantity of closed beta keys of the Division (still available at the time of writing this post).

Nvidia giving away closed beta, guaranteed access keys, for Tom Clancy's The Division

Tom Clancy’s The Division has a release date of 8 March 2016 and is expected to launch on Microsoft Windows PC, PS4 and Xbox One. It is also one of the most eagerly awaited ‘Massively Multiplayer Online Third Person Shooter / Role Playing Game’. It features a beautifully crafted post apocalyptic world where the player is equally likely to run into AI enemies as well as human players. In the graphics department, the Division is perfectly balanced. It features perfect character detail as well as asset and world detail. It neither lacks in post processing nor in atmospheric effects as the situation demands and features several innovative techniques (including a new weather system).

While the game is a one-day exclusive for the Xbox One (January 28th), PC and PS4 gamers will be able to participate in the closed beta on January 29th, 30th and 31st. The closed beta involves a waiting list but PC gamers can now easily get a closed-beta key from Nvidia. Since quantities are limited it goes without saying that you should go and grab one asap.

The closed beta will remain active for just a few days (ending on the 31st of January) and will allow users to get a feel of the game before buying it. More importantly, it will also allow Ubisoft to test their hardware infrastructure for the stress of full fledged exposure as well as bug reports which the thousands of new entrants are bound to report. It will also have ample time to fix any problems or hiccups that might result. Of course there are other ways of getting access to the closed-beta but that involves a waiting list and with a closed beta of just a few days, that's not really something desirable. Of course, you can always get guaranteed access to the closed beta by simply per-ordering the game.
