NVIDIA's workstation RTX 5000 ADA GPU finally sees retail, as the Chinese retailer JD.com lists the GPU for an astonishing 35,999 RMB/ USD $4,932.

NVIDIA's RTX 5000 ADA GPU Retails At a Huge Price in China, Still 50% Less Than What RTX 6000 ADA Comes At

NVIDIA's RTX 5000 Ada is part of the workstation GPUs unveiled during SIGGRAPH in August 2023. The card was only available in systems from OEMs but now, it is also available as a standalone GPU variant. A quick recap: the NVIDIA RTX Ada lineup has three different graphics cards featuring the RTX 5000,RTX 4500, andRTX 4000. Here is what you can expect with the lineup:

In terms of specifications, the NVIDIA RTX 5000 Ada graphics card comes with the AD102 GPU core that is configured with 12800 cores and 500 Tensor cores, offering up to 65.3 TFLOPs of single and 1044 TFLOPs of tensor performance. The card also comes with 32 GB of GDDR6 memory and has a TDP of 250W.

Regarding gen-to-gen improvements, the NVIDIA RTX 5000 Ada brings up to 3x more performance than its previous "RTX A5500" counterpart. Harnessing the power of NVIDIA's AI Enterprise 4.0 suite, the RTX Ada workstation GPUs have brought massive performance enhancement, making them one of the best options available. However, such specifications come with a high cost, and the RTX 5000 Ada has been listed on JD.com for 35,000 RMB, which is still almosthalf of what the higher-end "RTX 6000 ADA" is going at.
