A few days earlier OCZ revealed its newest SSDs, the Vertex 2 and Onyx. Unlike the ussual 2.5inch SSDs, the Vertex 2 and Onyx are smaller and lighter 1.8inch versions with the SATA II interface. You can get the Vertex 2 and Onyx for as low as $244 and $108 respectively.

The Vertex 2 is aimed at consumers that demand maximum performance in a small form factor. It has a maximum of 285MB/s read speeds and up-to 275Mb/s write speeds. The SSD is available in 60GB, 120GB and 240GB models.

OCZ Onyx is aimed at consumers that want to harness the power of SSDs without emptying their pockets too much. This SSD offers 135MB/s read speed and 70MB/s write speeds, 64MB cache and consumes ONLY one watt of power. It is available in 32GB and 64GB models.
