The OnePlus 12 is shaping up to be one of the best flagship phones coming out later this year in China. The phone's global launch is set for January 2024, but considering how the phone is launching in a short time, we are getting a lot of interesting details about it and everything it brings to the table. For starters, we recently found out that the display on this phone is going to be the brightest out of any smartphone at 4,500 nits peak brightness.

Now, we have some hands-on images of the upcoming phone along with more details on the display that you should be interested in. The OnePlus 12 will be sporting a BOE X1 display and will offer 4,500 nits of peak brightness in auto mode and 1,722 nits when you use the manual slider, which is still pretty impressive, to say the least.

Aside from having the brightest display, the OnePlus 12's display also brings an average Just Noticeable Color Difference (JNCD) value of just 0.35 and has an A+ certification from DisplayMate, which should mean that the display is going to deliver excellent brightness and color accuracy. You are also getting 2,160Hz PWM dimming, which should be good for the eyes.

At this point, it has become rather evident that OnePlus did not leave any stone unturned with the OnePlus 12, as the phone is packing some serious hardware. We cannot wait to get more information on the upcoming phone, as it seems like it is going to deliver on multiple fronts.
