We are expecting the OnePlus Open and OPPO Find N3 to be released later this month. The fact that we know both devices are the same is slightly strange, but I guess we will get used to it. Today, we finally have updated renders of the upcoming device, showing the massive camera island and the device itself from every angle.
The OnePlus Open is one of the best-looking foldable phones in the market
Now, remember that these are marketing renders of the OnePlus Open or OPPO Find N3, which means they are as legit as they could get. The renders show the devices in both green and black colorways, and on the back, you can see the iconic round camera island that was made famous with the OnePlus 11.

Honestly, I like the design of the OnePlus Open a lot more than some other foldable phones that have come out. The inner screen is a 7.8-inch OLED display from BOE - which is confusing because past rumors suggest that Samsung will be providing the screen. On the outside, you are looking at a 6.31-inch screen, which is wider than your standard foldable, making it appear almost like a traditional phone.
Inside the OnePlus Open will be a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, 16GB LPDDR5X RAM, and 256 gigs of internal storage. There can be higher storage options available at launch, but at the time of writing, we are not sure if that will be the case.
The OnePlus Open will also bring two 48-megapixel cameras, one for wide and the other for ultra-wide photography. There will also be a 64-megapixel camera with 3x optical zoom. The phone is scheduled to go official on 19th October, later this month, and will launch at a $1,700 price tag or higher for a higher storage variant.
Honestly, from all the foldable phones we have looked at so far, I love the OnePlus Open the most regarding how good it looks. The phone actually looks like it can make some dent in the foldable market, and that definitely is something that we have been waiting for. The phone is set to go official later this year, and we will keep you posted as we learn more.
