Now that we are done with the unveiling of the Galaxy Z Fold 5, Galaxy Z Flip 5, Galaxy Watch 6, and Galaxy Tab S9 series, it is time to look at some other things that we found out during the event. I was hoping that Samsung would unveil more devices, but that did not happen; however, the company did manage to give some information about how there is a Fan Edition device imminent, and we do know that it is going to be the Galaxy S23 FE.
Samsung could host another Galaxy Unpacked event for the Galaxy S23 FE and Galaxy Tab S9 FE
The information was obtained by Hadlee Simons of Android Authority, who, in a conversation with Justin Hume, vice-president of mobile for Samsung South Africa, found out that the company is working on a new Galaxy Fan Edition smartphone and that the phone is going to launch pretty soon. Keeping this in mind and the fact that the Galaxy S23 FE renders leaked earlier this year, it is safe to say that the phone is going to launch sometime later this year.
It also makes sense from a business perspective. Currently, Samsung has the A54 5G, and then we have the base Galaxy S23 variant. This means there is a gap between there, and a Samsung executive has finally confirmed that we will see a Fan Edition device come out soon. If you put two and two together, it is safe to say that the phone Samsung is talking about is going to be the Galaxy S23 FE.
The Galaxy S23 FE looks like an ideal device for those who are not looking to spend flagship money on a new phone. We know that the device will be available in two variants one sporting the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and the other sporting Exynos 2200. However, aside from the phone, I have a feeling that Samsung is going to announce the two Galaxy Tab S9 FE tablets that we spotted earlier, and if that does happen, then we have a trio of budget-friendly devices for those who are not looking to spend the big bucks.
As far as the announcement is concerned, I have a feeling that Samsung will be announcing the Galaxy Tab S9 FE along with the Galaxy S23 FE next month. However, we will keep you posted as we get to hear more about what Samsung is cooking.
