Samsung Galaxy S8 Will Launch On April 15th With Massively Improved Front Camera

Information so far paints a very bright picture for the Samsung Galaxy S8. The Korean tech giant will upgrade a lot of features. Thes, combined will completely change the look of its device. Today, some fresh reports have surfaced out of Samsung's home country South Korea. They lay out a lot of details for the device's front camera and peg a potential launch date as well.

South Korean publication ETNews claims that Samsung will introduce a lot of changes on the Galaxy S8's front camera. Samsung will cater to the ever growing 'selfie' market among millennials. The Galaxy S8 will feature an 8MP front camera, that will also include autofocus on board. In addition, the Galaxy S8 will utilize encoder Autofocus, which is different when compared to coil Autofocus on previous devices.

The publication also claims that the device won't launch with a dual camera. The dual camera has been a consistent feature of the rumor mill but has been scrapped off by Samsung. The company has equipped its Galaxy A series with excellent front camera sensors and the Galaxy S8 will follow suit. For the launch date, it's reported that the Galaxy S8 will launch on April 15th. That leaves only two months until the device is launched.

Other rumored features for the Galaxy S8 include an edge to edge design, a virtual home button, 10nm processors and 6GB of RAM.
