How to setup fingerprint on Galaxy S6:

The initial setup on Galaxy S6 and the S6 edge asks you to input your fingerprint for security. Let's see how to setup fingerprint on Galaxy S6 from the start:

Go toSettings>Quick Settings >Lock screen and security section.Under theSecurity Tab, go to Fingerprints(you'll have to enter your fingerprint to gain accessifyou have already setup your fingerprint sensor).For a new print, selectAdd Fingerprintand follow the on-screen instructions.

You can also choose to setup Galaxy S6 passcode lock - also known as the PIN feature. Here is how to:

From theSettings, accessLock screen and security section>Screen lock type.Go toPIN featureand add the number of digits (min. 4, max. 16) that you want to set as your password.

Setup password or pattern:

If fingerprint and PIN aint your thing, you can also go with a typical alphanumerical password OR a pattern password. Toset pattern password on Galaxy S6:
