So far, we have heard some interesting details about the upcoming offer, including a 1-inch sensor that is going to rival the likes of Galaxy S23 Ultra and the iPhone 14 Pro. Now, we have news about the display, and it seems like it is going to leave the competition in the dust.

Xiaomi 13 Ultra's display will offer up to 2,600-nit brightness with better overall efficiency

Renowned tipster Ice Universe posted some images from Xiaomi talking about the display on the Xiaomi 13 Ultra. Based on these images, the display will deliver a class-leading performance. However, this time, Samsung is not the one providing the displays for the new phones. The display is coming from China Star, a Chinese manufacturer.

The Xiaomi 13 Ultra will feature a Chinese LTPO display that will be able to go as high as 2,600 nits, which is higher than the Galaxy S23 Ultra and the iPhone 14 Pro Max. The company is calling it a C7, ultra clear, LTPO display.

The display on the Xiaomi 13 Ultra will lead in power consumption, peak brightness, viewing angle, luminous efficiency, eye protection, and other offerings. The success of this display will put China at the forefront of display manufacturers.

Honestly, it is too early to say how this new C7 display on the Xiaomi 13 Ultra is going to perform but on paper, it certainly looks impressive. Samsung is the undisputed king of displays and one of the largest distributors, but the China Star offering looks stellar and clearly shows that Samsung might have something to worry about.

Xiaomi 13 Ultra will also become a benchmark, at least in the display department, meaning that Apple and Samsung will eventually have to catch up and deliver something even better. However, the crazy 2,600 nit brightness might not make sense to many people because no one consistently uses their phones at max brightness.
