Samsung has just released the XXDNE1 Android 4.4.2 official update for Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0. You can update Galaxy Note 8.0 to Android 4.4.2 XXDNE1 via OTA or through Samsung KIES. Required files: download the Android 4.2.2 N5110XXDNE1firmware file for Galaxy Note 8.0 LTE fromhere.Also download theOdin3 v3.09 for installation fromhere. Unzip both these files into a folder on your computer.

Install Odin on your computer.Switch your Note 8.0 off and boot it inDownloadmode: press and holdVolume Down, PowerandHomebuttons simultaneously.When connected successfully, you will get a message in Odin saying“Added!!”.(In case you don’t get it, try another USB port. If that doesn't help either, then re-install USB drivers).In Odin make sure that theAuto RebootandF. Reset Timecheck boxes are the only options checked and nothing else is.Click onAPon Odin and locate the downloaded.tar.md5 file and hit theStartbutton to initiate the update process.When installation is successfully completed,ID:COMin Odinwill turn green and Odin will show aPASSmessage.SamsungGalaxy Note 8.0 LTE will restart automatically and you can then disconnect your device from PC.

Note:Incase your device gets stuck at boot screen after installation ofofficial firmware, perform data wiping tasks: reboot your Note into recovery mode and select thewipe data/factory reset. Go back and reboot your Note to the normal mode. It should work fine now.
