3M has come up with an LCD which is powered by USB 3.0. The 18.5" LCD which has a native resolution of 1366x768 is driven by two USB 3.0 ports and this helps the monitor to draw less power than a standard monitor.
The LCD is powered by two USB 3.0 because the monitor requires 8W while a single USB 3.0 port gives 7W of power. The other cool thing about the monitor is that its requires no VGA cable , only connect it through USB port and you're good to go. Features include 250 cd/m3 and 1000:1 Contrast Ratio.
