Wccftech is expanding its Mobileteam and has an open position for a new Mobile Technology Reporter (Android). If testing Android DPs, new apps and games, taking apart APKs to look for fancy new features, and publishing speedy news stories is something that excites you, we are looking for you!

Writing timely news stories to keep your readers informedKeeping up with sources to break important newsWorking on detailed reviews and comparisons (both OS and apps)Keeping an eye on industry developments and exciting new projectsRepresenting Wccftech at media events
You are a good candidate for Mobile Technology Writer (Android), if:
You consider yourself an Android fangirl/fanboyYou are found following XDA threads to look for the next best custom firmwareYou have a passionto trace out leaks about upcoming Android featuresYou get a rush when talking about how far Android has come or how it's still better than iOS (you won't get a chance to diss iOS everyday, though - remember, Android is the focus...)You have exemplary writing skillsand are comfortable with writing tech pieces of differing lengths (400 to 1500 words)You must be available between 9am to 5pm PT. While you won't be working throughout the day, we expect you to be available for timely publishing of stories.And again, you must be absolutely crazy about technology - or you'll get bored with our constant tech-talk!*Experience with photography and videography will be considered a plus
