Newrumourfloating around the internet saying that developers of Nintendo's new upcoming console "Wii U" have talked about the hands on prototype to several source's that Wii U will not be aspowerful as Xbox360 orPS3graphically. Other game developer's included their opinion and confirmed that the Wii U might be able to Draw HD graphs but it will not live up to the high-res texture's standards.
Developer's identity remain's anonymous as they stated that:
"No, it's not up to the same level as the PS3 or the 360,"
"The graphics are just not as powerful."
When we say developers at one of the major companies says, it does not take a genius to figure out to whom it would have beenreferringto, he said :
"Yeah, that's true. It doesn't produce graphics as well as the PS3 or the 360"
"There aren't as many shaders, it's not as capable. Sure, some things are better, mostly as a result of it being a more modern design. But overall the Wii U just can't quite keep up."
Contrary to the developer's statement's, "Randy Pitchford" at gearbox a lead developer from "Aliens: Colonial Marines" admired the Wii U stating that:
"no other platform can do what the Wii U can do."
Another intresting point to ponder is the over hyped tablet controller, what we all have assumed and it looked like something fun has been somehow to a certain extent has been described by this statement:
"The whole thing about the tablet controller is that you only get one of them, and you can only use one and it's not completely independent,"
"The base console has to be on, and you have to be in range."
"Other controllers are just Wiimotes, or other Wii controllers. They may change the form factor or looks a bit, but it's the same controller."
It Clearly means that tablet controller is designed for one player, the other player will not be having the same experience in the gameplay as the one using tablet controller which is actually a really big deal, the player with thetablet controller and the other player with wiimote, both players having different views of the console and the game which completely contradicts the game and console experience but the process is still undergoing and I am more than sure that Nintendo will come up with anextravagant idea to help counter this, as we all know Nintendo has a thing for controllers and innovative design.
As far as the graphics go i have to agree at this modern era eye candy and wowness of a game surely add some extra mile's in the Game life cycle, but if the gameplay and story is good enough no matter its a console or DX11 capable PC, Graphics does not matter that much, Nintendo always focus on technology somewhat unique and healthy and if the rumours are true i think Wii U might have a trouble time competing in the market with other next-gen console's.
