Xiaomi Mi 8 SE to Be Available in Two Models, With the Cheapest One Costing as Low as $282 to Shake up the Market

Xiaomi is going to be releasing the affordable smartphone in two configurations. The first one will get 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal memory for an affordable price of $282. There is also going to be a 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage model which will retail for $313if currency conversions are taking place. In short, these variants are going to become a popular pick for consumers looking to snare an Android device that does not cost as much as the current-gen flagships.

Coming to the rest of the hardware, the Mi 8 SE will sport a 5.88-inch screen with an FHD+ resolution of 2,244 x 1,080.The display is an AMOLED panel, which is very surprising because of the price tag attached. The display panel also sports a notch, which won't be to everyone's liking. Both the variants will be accompanied by high-end front and rear cameras, whilethe 20MP selfie cam will complement the entire configuration. The AI features would be the same as those seen on Mi 8and will be powered by software instead of a dedicated NPU.

The phone will also offer dual SIM supportbut does not get expandable storage, unfortunately. For security, theMi 8 SE will have a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner,a 3,120mAh battery and Quick Charge 3.0support.The Mi 8 SE will go on sale at 10:00 AM on June 8and to be honest,it will hardly be surprising to see the smartphone sell out. Given its price tag, it should sell out like hot cakes.
