We finally have access to stock firmware files that you can use to flash on your Galaxy S22. If you cannot wait for the OTA update to reach your devices, this is a great way of ensuring that you are safely updating your device without voiding the warranty, either. If you have been wondering how to install Android 13 on Galaxy S22 series, this guide is for you.

As always, the guide is going to involve flashing the stock firmware using the popular firmware tool Odin. But we are going to provide you with all the files and other steps that you will need to follow. If you have been a Samsung user for some time, the process is as easy as taking a walk in the park, so let's have a look.

Install Android 13 on Galaxy S22 Series Using Odin

Note:Although the process is fool-proof, we highly advise that you back up your files before flashing the firmware in case of any data loss.

Now, the process of installing Android 13 on Galaxy S22 is fairly simple. Samsung has more or less kept the process the same ever since the beginning, so if you have been familiar with Samsung devices, you should not have to worry.

Still, I am going to help you with getting Android 13 on Galaxy S22 series. Let's start with the prerequisites that you are going to need to install Android 13 on your Galaxy S22.

Prerequisites for Installing Android 13 on Galaxy S22

Now that we have everything we need, let's look at how you can install Android 13 on Galaxy S22 series.

Extract and run theOdin.exeyou will find. For your convenience, extract it into a folder on your desktop.Turn off your Galaxy S22 and connect one end of the USB cable to your PC.Press and holdVolume Up and Downbuttons together, and while holding the keys, insert the other side of the USB Type-C cable into your phone.You will see aWarning screen,release both buttons and press the Volume Upbutton once more and you will be inDownload Mode.

How to Flash Android 13 on Galaxy S22

Note:It is common for Odin to stop responding when you are loading the files. If it happens, let it take its time, and it will be back to normal in no time.

When you are inDownload Modewith your phone connected, you will see a blue tab light up on the left side. This means your device is connected.Extract the downloaded firmware on your PC, and you will find multiple files.On the right side, tap the AP button and load theAPfile from the extracted firmware.Just like that, do the same withBL and CPfiles. In CSC, you have to add theHome CSCfile, or else you'll lose your data.Once all the files are loaded successfully, you can go ahead and click onStart, and this will start the flashing process.

Make sure that you are not doing anything to your phone when it is flashing. Once it flashes successfully, you will get a message saying "PASS" on Odin, and the phone will reboot itself. If, however, it fails to reboot, simply press and holdVolume DownandPowerbuttonstogether until it reboots, and you are good to go.

The first boot after the fresh update is going to take some time but let your phone sit for a while, and you will be greeted with your lock screen shortly.
