Apple has released iOS 13.2 beta 3 and iPadOS 13.2 beta 3 to developers. The update is available over-the-air, as well as via Apple Developer Center, for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. The public beta was not released at the time of writing.
Apple has been very active with their software updates for iPhone and iPad. iOS 13.1.3 and iPadOS 13.1.3 were released just a few days ago with fixes for Mail app, Bluetooth connectivity, Notifications, iCloud backups and other reliability improvements. This was Apple's third minor update to iOS 13 and iPadOS in under a month.
iOS 13.2 beta 2 and iPadOS 13.2 beta 2 were also released last week with noticeable changes which included performance improvements, video resolution setting in camera app, Haptic touch menu updates, new emojis and Siri privacy settings. The update also leaked some details on third-generation AirPods with noise cancellation, which are expected to launch in 2020. Some iPad Pro 2018 were also bricked due to an issue with beta 2, although restoration was easy thanks to DFU mode.
Apple has not mentioned anything in their release notes for these new updates. The updates are small in file size, so we expect minor bug fixes and improvements. We will update this post if we find any major changes.
Download iOS 13.2 beta 3 & iPadOS 13.2 beta 3
To download and install iOS 13.2 beta or iPadOS 13.2 beta on your devices, you must register to Apple Developer Center. This will give you access to download and install the beta profile, which enables your device to receive beta updates. Alternatively, you can also sign up for Apple's public beta software program. The updates are less frequent for public beta users, but the builds are general more stable. In either case, it is not recommended to install beta builds on primary devices, as bugs can lead to data loss or even brick your device.
If you already have an iOS 13.2 beta build installed, simply go to Settings > General > Software Update on your iPhone or iPad to download the new update. Make sure that you are connected to Wi-Fi and have sufficient battery charge before updating.
Apple also released tvOS 13.2 beta 3 and watchOS 6.1 beta 4 to developers today.
