Apple is gearing up to launch its forthcoming iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro models with a wide range of changes on the outside. This year, the company will see fit to minimize the gap between the standard and the 'Pro' models as far as the design is concerned. We have previously seen a plethora of leaks related to the design of the devices, and the latest dummy units show what we should expect with the iPhone 15 and the iPhone 15 Pro models later this year.
iPhone 15 Pro dummy unit reveals what the device will look like, highlighting the volume buttons, USB-C, and more details
A video of the iPhone 15 Pro dummy units has appeared online that aims to show how the device will look based on recent leaks and rumors. We have previously heard that the standard iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus models will gain support for Dynamic Island, putting them in line with the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. However, the iPhone 15 Pro models will feature their fair share of changes as well. The video of the dummy units of the iPhone 15 Pro was posted on TikTok, highlighting all the major changes that we have heard about so far.
We have recently heard that Apple will be moving away with physical or mechanical buttons on the iPhone 15 Pro models in favor of a solid-state solution. The solid-state buttons will pair up with additional Taptic Engines for Haptic feedback. This year, the company will also say goodbye to the Mute Switch and replace it with an Apple Watch Ultra-like solid-state Action button as well. The iPhone 15 Pro dummy unit looks quite similar to the current flagships. However, you can see an elongated Volume button on the side without a divider.

The latest dummy units of the iPhone 15 Pro models are potentially based on CAD renders of the device. However, we are not aware if the size and dimensions of the dummy units are made to scale. Apart from the volume buttons, the iPhone 15 Pro models will feature a USB-C port instead of a Lightning port that will be capable of faster data transfer speeds. You can check out the video here.
Take note that the iPhone 15 launch is months away, and Apple could see fit to change its plans regarding various aspects of the device. Henceforth, be sure to take the news with a grain of salt. The flagship iPhone models will be announced later this year alongside iOS 17, which is also expected to bring major changes to the table. We will keep you guys posted on the latest, so be sure to stick around.
